Another nostalgic article I read from Yahoo.com about sounds kids nowadays would have no idea of (wow, talk about me getting old!). I remember clearly the sound and the joy of my 56kbps modem connecting to the internet, rendering our landline useless for the next 7 hours (depends on what my internet card says), how a dot matrix printer sounds when it's printing something (and those things are LOUD!), even the occasional 'You've got mail!' voice when you receive an email.
